SB25-003

SB25-003 goes into effect August 1st, 2026. The last day for background checks to be submitted to CBI is July 28th, 2026 @ 5:00pm regarding the SSFs (Specified Semi-Automatic Firearms) defined by the state. All SSFs will require an eligibility card and the passing of a safety course in order to purchase or transfer on and after August 1st, 2026.

Specified Semi-Automatic Firearms MUST be picked up on or before July 31st, 2026, during store hours. If a firearm was transfered in and not picked up before the cutoff, the transferee will have to pay return and processing fees to the vendor. In store firearms not picked up by July 31st, 2026 will be subject to a 50% restocking fee with no option for store credit. Please plan accordingly for demand.

We do not have the safe space to hold onto these firearms until you've received your safety eligibility certificate.
